Unlike most traditional blossom honey, this organic chestnut honey is created from the nectar of the sweet chestnut that grows in the high forests around Piedmont. It is a rich, robust chestnut honey of dark amber colour and intense aroma with bitter notes. The heady taste is like a winter fire, woody, smoky and spicy.
