Gourmet paste – aubergines

Our organic aubergine paste consists of 80% sun-ripened aubergines, which grow on Sicily’s fertile volcanic soil. This paste is ecologically produced by hand according to a traditional Sicilian recipe. Refined with the finest olive oil and rounded off with some wine vinegar, sea salt, mint, garlic and a hint of chilli, the palate unfolds a fine aubergine aroma with a spicy aftertaste and fresh mint.

• Heart aubergine aroma, fine fruity, pleasant freshness on the palate thanks to the Sicilian mint and a hint of chilli in the aftertaste. Rounded off by extra virgin olive oil from the best olives of Sicily, making it very creamy and spicy. 
• We recommend crispy baked garlic bread and a sumptuous antipasti plate with this aubergine pâté. The paste also goes great with grilled vegetables and fried cheese. A pasta sauce with crunchy cherry tomatoes, fresh Mediterranean herbs and aged Parmigiano Reggiano, this paste is also a feast for gourmets.
